So, even though it’s a few months late, here is the info on the finale for the Munto series…

Last War of Heavenloids and Akutoloids (Tenjo-nin to Akuto-nin Saigo no Tatakai), was released on April 18 in Japan. No word yet if it will be released as a North American version.

Haven’t seen or heard anything about it yet, but let’s hope it finally wraps up the story and gives us more MuntoxYumemi!

Munto OVA Finale

The Munto television series is over, but left a lot of questions unanswered for some fans. (e.g. ME!)

Kyoto Animation is going to finish the story with an OVA finale this month in Japan, April 18 to be exact.

No word yet if Central Park Media (or any other company) will license the series or the new OVA for an English-version release.

Munto TV Series

Hi Munto Fans! I’ve got an update on what I thought was the new Munto movie (sorry, I’m a little late)…It’s actually a TV series!

Kyoto Animation has released the new Munto-related anime series “Sora o Miageru Shojo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai” (The World Reflected in the Eyes of a Girl Looking Up at the Heavens). Basically, it’s a recap of the first two Munto movies, but with added scenes and a continuation of the storyline after Munto and Yumemi fly off into the Heavenly Realm. I haven’t seen much yet, but I’m anticipating the plot advancement, especially now that Yumemi is in the Heavenly Realm. Dare I hope for more Munto x Yumemi moments?
